The Enchanted seems to me a magical book, even more so than its predecessors, with relationships being the cornerstone on which Hoyle builds her stage. Her edits and update or added scenes serve one purpose and one purpose only: to make what I thought was a perfect book somehow even better, and I am thrilled to read on.
